SpringHill has been working since 1969 to reach kids for Jesus Christ. The success of this ministry is dependent on the community of believers who have supported us with prayer, time,and financial resources. In the book of James, Chapter 5, it reads "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." The following prayer requests are a small sample of needs we have at SpringHill. For the full list, please sign up for the Prayer Partner Newsletter.
• For the SpringHill staff as they work with parents in registering children and teens for summer camp.
• For summer campers who are preparing to come to camp. That God would prepare their hearts and they would be open to the gospel taught this summer.
• For volunteers to give of their time, talents and resources to SpringHill in 2010 in all areas of camp.
• For the ground water discharge permit application process pending approval.
• For ministry support needed for 2,500 camper scholarships.
• We have launched a ministry campaign this year – Journey Forward. Pray for people to understand the vision for the future of SpringHill and to begin supporting the next phase of the ministry.
• That God would bring the right person to fill our Detroit Day Camp Director, Trading Post Manager and Program Retreats Manager positions.
• For the spiritual health of our staff and that they would be committed to reading God’s word and prayer so they are equipped to share the love of Jesus Christ with others.
• For van and four wheelers needed at the Indiana property to help with recruiting and general use around camp.
• For medical staff needed for our Michigan and Indiana properties throughout the year at retreats and summer camp.
• For ministry partnerships and partners relationships through churches, businesses and individuals looking to reach more kids for Christ.
